SEA Field Launches Groundbreaking Media and Communications Training

by | Nov 8, 2024

Bangkok, Thailand: Asia-Pacific Resource Center Media Team facilitated the first-ever successful and beneficial media and communications training in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1 to 4 October 2024, with representatives from eight districts of three neighboring countries: Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

The participants gained an understanding of the basic knowledge of news writing, video production, podcasting, and social media. In addition to learning how to develop media tools for training, they also acquired the practical skills necessary to strategically and creatively tell stories about the numerous ways the Church is transforming the lives of people in their communities.

One of the participants said, “This training is very important for me as a minister. I don’t understand everything, but I am grateful for the opportunity to learn these new skills. Thank you so much, media team.”

Believing that for churches to proclaim the gospel, establish and engage relationships with their communities, and practice discipleship in the modern world, efficient communication is essential.
