APNTS First Nazarene Institution to Launch GNECsis Student Information System

by | Aug 5, 2016

Manila, Philippines: Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary is proud to be the first Nazarene Institution to  install GNECsis,  (pronounced Genesis).  Developed by the International Board of Education, it is our Nazarene student information system provided  to Nazarene institutions globally.  It will be a huge game changer for Nazarene higher education.  And APNTS is the first to receive it!

Up to this point, this type of system has been considered by the International Board of Education to be  out of reach of the resources for most of our institutions. But thanks to the cooperative efforts between the Nazarene Global Information Technology department (Global IT) and  APNTS in conjunction with Asia-Pacific Resource Center, this has become a reality.

In July and August, Jeff Beam, Director of Information Technology at the Global Ministry Center and Kindra Bible, software writer for the Church of the Nazarene, spent three weeks in the Philippines installing the system and training those that will be using it.

There is great excitement about the new system.

We want to thank all those who have participated in making this dream a reality.
