Tropical Storm Hagupit Developing in Pacific – Forecast to Become Typhoon with Philippines in Path!

by | Dec 2, 2014

Western Pacific / Micronesia:  The Nazarene Disaster Response and Nazarene Compassionate Ministries teams are keeping a cautious eye on Tropical Storm Hagupit.

Real Time Storm Track Updates

The storm, which is currently in the Micronesian islands, is forecast to become a Category 4 storm with winds of  210-250 kph (131-155 mph) by Friday morning.

Its current forecast trajectory will take it just north of the area devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda just over one year ago (November 8th, 2013).

Story of Super Typhoon Yolanda

Please commit to pray for the Pacific Islanders of Micronesia and that the storm will dissipate and die out in the Pacific without making landfall in the Philippines.
