On 25 August 2024, NYI visited Avo Jacinto Manleu, Laulora. He could not attend the worship service every Sunday because his leg was injured, and he lives on the mountain, far from the church.
They decided to walk during their trip to Avo Jacinto’s place because transportation was difficult. His place was near the top of a mountain, so they needed to pass by the river and climb a mountain. The group walked for almost 40 minutes to reach his place.
These young people decided to visit him despite his location. They were happy to be able to take part in this opportunity. This was a good time for them to explore the environment, especially visiting Avo Jacinto. The young people had an excellent time fellowshipping with him. They shared God’s Word and listened to Avo’s testimony of his journey when he accepted Jesus Christ.
Pray for the local young people serving in East Timor to continue serving God and reach out to other youths who need to hear and know about the love of Jesus.
