Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, Papua New Guinea:  There is nothing quite like being thousands of miles away when someone you love is going through a crisis.

Word was received this week from Jeff Myers, missionary to Papu New Guinea, requesting prayer for his father who experienced a fall and then medical complications as a result of the fall.

As of this writing Jeff’s father is in stable condition.  Please pray for rapid and complete healing, and for peace for Jeff and his family.

Jeff and his wife Susan (medical doctor at the Nazarene hospital) have served in Papua New Guinea since  2001.

The original request was posted on the 13-Feb.  Praise God! As of today, Jeff’s father is doing better, but will undergo exploratory surgery later this evening.  It is expected that he will be in the ICU for a couple of days following the procedures.  Please keep the family in your prayers.

“The news gets better! The person in charge of the ventilator decided it was time to come out so they removed dad from the vent and he is breathing well on his own. He is headed to the ICU step-down unit soon.  We thank the Lord for His hand upon dad.”  – Jeff Myers.
