NYI Members participate as live audience on Perfect Rhythm!

by | Sep 6, 2013

Manila, Philippines: Perfect Rhythm, the contemporary weekly radio show of Nazarene World Mission Broadcast and World Mission Communications Asia-Pacific had a great surprise last week!  Nine members from the Metro-Manila District Nazarene Youth International (NYI) visited the studio of DZAS Far East Broadcasting Company on Saturday, August 24th, to support Perfect Rhythm.

Nazarene Pastor Jordan Escusa, host of Perfect Rhythm, was greatly inspired to have these NYI members serve as a live audience.  On this particular day Shimei Gandia was also a special guest.  Shimei was the ultimate winner of “N-Factor” held recently at a Nazarene Youth Camp talent night.  As winner, Shimei had the opportunity to sing live, “He Raised Me Up” and to share her testimony of how God has been blessing her life.

The involvement of NYI with Perfect Rhythm and radio ministry in the Philippines began after the Perfect Rhythm Radio Ministry Fellowship, day-long training that was held earlier in the month.  During this event, teams were formed for specific areas of ministry such as prayer, follow up, research, writing, promotion and coordination.

The team that visited the studio were among the youth who had committed to be part of the prayer group.  These young adults are committing to faithfully pray for the ministry of radio in the Philippines, believing that the power and impact of any ministry is tied to effective prayer!
