Asia-Pacific Region joins the Global Week of Prayer

by | Mar 10, 2023

The Asia-Pacific Region joins in the celebration of the Global Week of Prayer. The celebration kicked off on 26 February 2023 with worship led by the regional NMI council, FSCs, and Dr. Mark Louw as speaker. More than 100 prayer warriors from all over the region joined this Zoom gathering.

During this time, the regional NMI and Rev. Arnel Piliin, Philippines Micronesia Field Strategy Coordinator, also had a special privilege to commission and pray for Dr. Jason and Mila Hallig, the newest missionary from the Philippines to be deployed to Guam.

Throughout the week of 27 February to 4 March, a Zoom prayer meeting is held at 5:00 in the morning. Each day the group is focused to pray for a region. It was really a special time to not only pray for our own region but to also dedicate special time to praise God and lift the prayers for the other regions in our denomination.

Dr. Mark Louw appreciates the Regional NMI Council led by Christine Mosuela in leading the region to prayer.  The regional NMI will continue to lead in these kinds of gatherings that challenge every member of every local church in the region to prioritize and focus on prayer.
