Alabaster Giving Has Big Impact on Seabrook Church in New Zealand

by | Jul 24, 2015

Auckland, New Zealand: On behalf of Seabrook Church and the New  Zealand District, we want to say a big thank you for the generous contribution we received from Alabaster and also for the Work and Witness Team from Pasadena, California.

Seabrook2Without this help and the help of many other generous people this project could never have been completed. This building would have been destroyed and turned into rubbish, had we not received it, but now it has a new life for the Glory of God.

How it all started – God had a plan!

We praise God for the miracles that He has done. There are still some things needing to be finished and we will be applying for permission from the council to occupy the building as soon as these final details are completed.

Pasadena First Church Sends Work and Witness Team to New Zealand.

Seabrook1It is a beautiful building and we pray that many people will find new life, hope and purpose in Jesus Christ through the ministry of this church.

Thanks for sending the help that we needed.

What is Alabaster Offering?

The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to “put down roots.” Alabaster funds help provide land for many Work & Witness projects, and the entire Alabaster Offering goes toward the purchase of land and construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers.
