Chiang Mai, Thailand: On 11-12 November 2024, the Southeast Asia field Jesus film ministry conducted a significant event in partnership with the Northern Thailand District. This training occurred at Mae Taeng Church of Nazarene, Chiang Mai, Thailand. In partnership with the Jesus film Harvest Partners, a ministry under the Church of the Nazarene, this ministry is instrumental in providing tools for local churches to spread the goodness of the Kingdom and grow believers and churches through discipleship and church planting. Ten participants, primarily pastors from neighboring churches, attended.
The training was intentionally designed to equip team leaders and help them understand the role of Jesus film teams within the district. Dr. Arnel Jotiz, the Southeast Asia Field Jesus Film Coordinator, conducted the training, and Steve Barber, the Southeast Asia Field Literature Coordinator, facilitated the hands-on training on the use of Jesus Film equipment.
Moreover, the training concluded with participants’ renewed commitment to helping educate local churches to be intentional in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. The impact of this training was significant, as it inspired the pastors to give more importance to evangelism. One participant commented, ‘This training will benefit the Nazarene of Northern Thailand District, and it has inspired us to give more importance to evangelism.’
Your prayers are significant to the Northern Thailand Nazarene District’s journey. Please continue to pray for the churches and leaders to be filled with fresh fire from the Holy Spirit as they strive to significantly impact their communities. Your prayers are valued and integral to the ministry’s success.
