Online Addiction – Digital Cocaine – It’s No Game!

Regional Announcement:  Across the globe, psychologists are recognizing a trend… screen addiction!  With the wave of technology sweeping the world, many have been unprepared for the hidden consequences of exposure to so much technology – we have become digitally addicted.

Medical science allows for observation of brain function and is finding striking similarities between the brain’s response to “screen addiction” and addiction to other chemicals such as cocaine.

While we promote “screen time” for our children, are we actually inducing memory loss similar to that experienced by aging adults, as well as other issues that will impact the lives of our children for years into the future?

Brad Huddleston, expert in the area of digital addiction, shares some very enlightening and concerning information in this following short video.
