Prayer is requested for missionary Janet Wilkins and her family on the passing of their dear mother, Louise Tripp.

Louise Tripp passed away peacefully on 24 January 2023. Louise was born in Guntown Mississippi to Luther and Alice Whitlock. She was a registered nurse and homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Trip, son-in-law Don Allen, and grandson, Adam Allen. She is survived by daughters Patty Allen and Janet Wilkins, son-in-law Kevin Wilkins and 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Janet shared on her Facebook post:

“My mom, Louise Tripp, passed away yesterday. I just keep thinking about her. How blessed we were to be raised by her and her fun-loving spirit. She had many health concerns, but, she would overcome them again and again. She loved God and she loved babies. She made friends easily. Dementia was the thing that took her health and her joy in the end. She was raised in a poor sharecropping family. She knew how to work hard. I am so thankful that heaven is real. I just know she is enjoying the presence of her king and that daddy is showing her around the place… you know, all of his perfectly manicured lawns… Life is different when you know God. Our hope rests, not in this temporal place, but in the personal knowledge of Jesus our God. Thank you, Jesus, for my mom.”

Louise Tripp’s Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, 11 February 2023, 1 PM at the Glendora Community Church. Memorial gifts can be given to benefit Shechem Children’s Home.
