Announcement: The Asia-Pacific and Global Mission IT teams, together with the Global Ministry Center, are advising Mac users to delay upgrading to the newly released MacOS Sierra version until there is sufficient evidence (and possible fix releases) to ensure stability and reduce risk of functional difficulties.  It will also allow the many additional programs and tools we use to be updated to work with the new version.  This is a critical standard and best practice in most organizations to discourage and in many cases block these upgrades until sufficient real world credibility is established.  This is true regardless of what vendor or platform is affected.

Generally it is best to wait at least a month (or more) before subjecting your system to the latest upgrade, in case potential problems would occur. May this serve as a friendly reminder before we click the ‘Update’ button- we do not want you to lose all your years of precious work- be it a document or an audio/ video file, nor we don’t want specific applications to be suddenly inaccessible in your computers!
