TODAY’S UPDATE – Sat. Aug. 20, 2016 11:04 AM

From Linda Seaman…
“With grateful hearts to God and to all of you who are so faithfully lifting us to the Father, we want to share this wonderful news. The results of all of the body scans and the skeletal scan done yesterday have come back absolutely clear. We are praising God for this good and encouraging report.

John had a good day yesterday–he was back to being the John we all love and know so well, and he is totally able to be a part of all the decisions we must make.

We ask you to pray that God will guide us today as we are faced with the next step of this journey. The neurosurgeon has said that John should be flown back to Michigan for his further care. This poses a problem for us, but not for the Great Physician Who we believe is in full control of John’s case. This is our most urgent need at this point.

  • Please help us pray that we can find the best way to fly him home as there are no direct flights to Lansing. We would only be able to fly him commercially to Detroit, and then there would still be a 2-3 hour drive to get home.
  • Pray that God will help us find the perfect way to get him home.
  • Secondly, our insurance carrier requires that we have a referral from our primary physician in Michigan to have him admitted to an accredited neuro-oncologist/cancer treatment (preferably the U of Michigan). So far, however, we have been unable to connect with him–we are thinking he may be on vacation. We know the Lord knows where he is and how to get us connected to him. So please pray that God will open doors and work out these pressing needs we are facing today.

We do not know all of the next steps, but we do know the One who is ” in charge,” so with steadfast hearts and absolute trust, we press on.

Thank you for lifting us to the Father! Please continue to do so–we are resting in the hands of our “Good, good Father!”
