Praying over Pastor Ricky

Praying over Pastor Ricky

Antipolo, Philippines:  On September 8th, the congregation of Grace Church of the Nazarene, gathered around twenty-eight year old Pastor Ricky Fabella and lifted him to the Lord in prayer.

Up until one month ago, Pastor Ricky, who is a 2010 graduate of our Philippine Nazarene College in Baguio, had been pastoring the Santa Mesa Church of the Nazarene.

The first part of August, Pastor Ricky was diagnosed with bilateral (or double) kidney failure.  During our visit with him this past weekend, he shared that he is now having to undergo peritoneal dialysis five times daily.

Pastor Ricky had a check up on Friday, September 13th.  We are waiting for the results.

Please pray that:

  • Kidney function will be restored
  • God will be glorified through Ricky’s healing
  • God will provide the strength necessary for Ricky and his family

Update as of September 20th
Pastor Ricky’s latest checkup last week showed some slight improvement, but kidney function is still minimal.  He is looking better and starting to put on some weight.  Please continue to pray.

If you would like more information on this prayer need, please contact the Asia-Pacific Regional Communications Coordinator.
