NMI Metropolitan Luzon District Prayer and Fasting

photo 3Philippines:  The Metropolitan Luzon District (MLD) Nazarene Missions International  (NMI) held its district Prayer and Fasting on May 16, 2015 at the Bulacan Church of the Nazarene.

The theme of the event was, “Looking Out: Communicating God’s Love,”  Churches from across the district attended the event.

photo 5Prayer and Fasting became even more special and solemn, thanks to the pastors from the district, led by District Superintendent (DS) Crisanto Colorado. One of the songs sung was, “We’ll Work Till Jesus Comes,” which was a fitting testimony of their calling to preach the gospel until the end of age.

photo 1The event also provided time for fellowship among the different churches on the district, assuring support for each other in lifting their concerns and praises to the Lord.  The district expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Charlie Veras and the Bulacan Church of the Nazarene for their generosity in hosting the event.

The Prayer Mobilization Line,  and this newsletter are great sources of Praise and Prayer items. 1 Thess. 5:16-18 reminds us to, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Please consider your part in prayer and fasting for the sharing of the message of hope found through Christ, around the world!
