by | Mar 12, 2015

Kingdom of Tonga, Melanesia South Pacific Field:   Word was just received today (March 11) that Jeong-seok Kim, wife of In-Kwon Kim,  was diagnosed with Dengue Fever.   This is an extremely painful illness and can have serious complications.

Please commit to pause and pray for the full recovery of Jeong-seok, for protection over In-Kwon, and for the ministry of the Mango Tree Respite Center.   Please also consider sharing this request with others, so that we can join together as a global family around the Kim’s

The Kims serve at the Mango Tree Respite Center in the Kingdom of Tonga.

*** UPDATE 12-MAR-2015

The following update was posted by In-Kwon:

Dear prayer friend,
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for Jeong-Seok.
God answered the prayers and Jeong-Seok is well recovering from Dengue fever. No more fever and [she is] regaining [her] appetite!

Please keep praying for Tongans who are still suffering from the disease.

I saw a long queue of many Dengue Fever patients who were waiting for blood test in Vaiola Hospital in Nuku’alofa. It was terrible.
