Living Hope Church of the Nazarene in Saipan dedicates its church building

by | May 24, 2024

Dan Dan Village, Saipan: After 21 years, Living Hope Church of the Nazarene in Saipan celebrated the dedication of its church building on 12 May 2024. The church property was acquired through funding received from Alabaster Offering.

Field Strategy Coordinator Dr. Arnel Piliin led the dedication service. Global NMI President Christine Mosuela and Guam District NMI President Emelyn Domaoal were also present on this special occasion. Ezekiel Domaoal Guam Church of Nazarene youth leader, led the music and worship. Chad and Angela Taflinger, missionaries assigned as pastors of this local church, hope and pray that this place will be a place where children, youth, and adults can gather for worship, fellowship, and discipleship.

“The past two years have been a whirlwind, to say the least.  Many ups and downs, but God has been faithful through it all. We are so glad that the Global Missions and others captured our vision and trusted us to secure a property under the Church of the Nazarene.  Before landing this property, we looked at dozens of others.  We spent many hours wishing and hoping for the right one.  We envisioned ministries at other properties and almost bought them, but God’s timing and plans were better.  We wanted visibility and access to people.  Our current location is perfectly situated within the village of Dan Dan.  Hundreds of families call this village home.  Our church is just 2-blocks from a local middle school.  We are excited to see how God will use not only this facility but us as well as we seek to make Christlike disciples in the nations!” – Chad Taflinger

The church is grateful for the people around the world who faithfully give love and support for the mission. The faithfulness of the body of Christ makes it possible for the church to continue to grow as the Lord promised.

Pray for the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene that more opportunities will open for them to show Jesus’ love in the community.
