Praise Report – Missionary’s Father Being Discharged from Hospital!

by | Mar 3, 2015

Papua New Guinea:  Back on February 13th, a global request for prayer went out on behalf of the father of Jeff Myers, missionary to Papua New Guinea.  Jeff’s father experienced a fall and then some very serious medical complications as a result.

Prayer requested for father of missionary - original request.

The following praise report was received on March 2.

“First, let me thank you all for your prayers over these last 2 or 3 weeks on behalf of my dad.  Dad is doing fantastic and is scheduled to go home in a few hours (Ohio’s Monday morning).

They have finished all of his antibiotics, he is disconnected from all tubes and hoses (except for IV and that may even be out by now), the incision site is healing nicely and so he will be heading to the house to rest and recuperate.  I have been able to talk with mom and dad using FaceTime and both are doing very well, although dad is still a bit weak and needs to regain his strength.

We thank the Lord for His hand on dad and know that He will continue to keep His hand on dad as he works to get back to 100%!

Thank you all again for your prayers!  It is good to know that we can count on the prayers of our church family.  Thanks for being our family!   – Jeff Myers

Thank you so very much for your continued partnership in prayer with the ministries, leaders, churches and all of our team members here on the Asia-Pacific Region!  There is much power in prayer!
