Manila, Philippines: Regional Director, Dr. Mark Louw, announced the appointment of Leody Tan Echavez III as the new NCM Regional Coordinator. Leody will serve in this role effective 1 July 2023.

“Leody is an incredibly gifted and innovative young man who has served as Philippines-Micronesia Field NCM Coordinator and most recently as assistant to the Regional NCM Coordinator. He networks well and understands the NCM philosophy that we hold dear,” said Mark Louw. “Leody is also a wonderful relationship builder and I know that you and those you work with will be blessed to be able to network and collaborate with him.”

Dr. Mark Louw also appreciated John and Laurie Watton who served as regional NCM before the appointment of Leody. “John and Laurie have deeply impacted my life and that of my family. They have faithfully served us in Africa and now in Asia-Pacific. Their compassionate hearts and passion to see each local church and all members of the Church of the Nazarene be people of compassion have deeply impacted our Region with evidence everywhere of Nazarenes being compassionate people,” shared Mark.

The Region is grateful for the service of John and Laurie as regional NCM coordinator since 2014 and welcomes Leody as he steps into this role.
