The New Creation Center (NCC) program, which started in 2023, is dedicated to serving one of the most vulnerable groups within the Myanmar diaspora community—its children. Many families in this community face significant barriers to education, as parents often have limited or no formal schooling themselves. As a result, the cycle of poverty and lack of education is repeated from one generation to the next.
Access to quality education is a critical pathway to breaking this cycle. However, many of these children are currently not eligible to attend Thai public schools due to language barriers and legal or documentation challenges. By equipping students with basic Thai language skills, NCC helps open doors to better employment opportunities in the future and increases their potential eligibility for formal education within Thailand. One child said, “Before I was so shy, but thru the NCC she was helped and become more confident specially in talking to other children and adults”.
Beyond academic instruction, NCC is committed to the holistic development of each child. Physically, children are provided with a safe, structured, and closely monitored environment where they can rest, play, exercise, and receive nutritious meals—essential foundations for healthy growth and learning. Equally important are emotional and social development. Through supportive relationships, guided activities, and a caring community, children learn confidence, resilience, cooperation, and respect for others.
By addressing educational, physical, emotional, and social needs together, the New Creation Center seeks to nurture well-rounded individuals and create meaningful opportunities for a brighter and more stable future for Myanmar migrant children and their families.
