Bangkok, Thailand: On 1 February 2025, The 6th Graduation Ceremony of the Chapman Institute of Theology (CIT) represented a significant milestone characterized by celebration, reflection, and gratitude, honoring the remarkable accomplishments of the graduating class of 2025. This important event marked Chapman Institute of Theology (CIT) Thailand’s first graduation since the COVID-19 pandemic and serves as a testament to God’s grace and the steadfast commitment of each student to their divine calling, symbolizing resilience and hope for future endeavors.
The ceremony’s highlights included a stirring address from Dr. Mark Eugenio, the Chancellor of CIT. He spoke passionately about the responsibilities that lie ahead for the graduates, emphasizing their roles as ambassadors of faith, hope, and transformation. He stated, “As you embark on the next phase of your journey—whether in pastoral ministry or further academic pursuits—remember that you are ambassadors of faith.” Such a message resonates deeply in today’s world, rife with challenges and a dire need for compassionate leaders.

Dr. Eugenio’s call to remain grounded in God’s Word and dedicated to lifelong learning serves as a reminder that spiritual education does not end with graduation; rather, it is a continuous journey that evolves over a lifetime.
Congratulations to the 27 graduates who participated in this prestigious ceremony graciously hosted at Bangkok First Church of the Nazarene. The graduating class comprised 15 individuals who earned a Diploma of Ministry, five who received Certificates of Ministry, and seven who were awarded Certificates of Lay Ministry.
A particularly enriching aspect of the ceremony was the presence of Dr. Bill Kwon, the esteemed commencement speaker. His insights resonated powerfully with the graduating class, imparting wisdom that many graduates will carry into their ministry and personal lives. Dr. Kwon spoke about the importance of staying true to one’s calling, particularly in a world that often pulls individuals in various directions. His words served as an anchor for many in attendance, reminding them that while the journey ahead may be fraught with challenges, it is also filled with opportunities for growth and service.
