Rev. Kafoa Muaror and wife Aggie

This June, the Asia-Pacific Region welcomed new team members who are stepping into vital strategic roles. Rev. Dr. Kafoa Muaror and his wife Aggie have stepped into the role of Field Strategy Coordinator for the Melanesia South Pacific field. In addition, Rev. Roland Hearn has accepted the role of Field Strategy Coordinator for the Australia/New Zealand field. These new roles were effective on June 1, 2019.

Dr. and Mrs. Muaror succeed Harmon and Cindy Schmelzenbach, who served in Melanesia/South Pacific for over ten years. Rev. Hearn succeeds Dr. John Moore, who with his wife Vicki served both as the Australia/New Zealand FSC and the Regional Education Coordinator. Dr. Moore is transitioning to a role in Global Missions to assist with the development of other FSCs and leaders.

Asia-Pacific Regional Director Dr. Mark Louw expressed his thanks to both the Schmelzenbachs and Moores. “Words are too empty to contain my gratitude. They have served well and we have been blessed to serve with them.” He also asked for prayer for the new team members during their transition into their new roles.
