Videos from 2018 Holiness Writers’ Conference Now Available!

by | Jul 19, 2018

From 28 February to 3 March 2018, representatives from nations across the Asia-Pacific Region gathered for the Regional Holiness Writer’s Conference. Dr. Neville Bartle, retired District Superintendent from New Zealand, taught a class of over 50 participants about the theological foundations that inform our Nazarene mission. To audiences from the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa, and Thailand, Dr. Bartle shared how those who write and produce content can reflect holiness in their lifestyle and their work.

For those who were unable to attend the conference earlier this year, five videos of Dr. Bartle’s lectures have been made available in online video. These lectures are meant to inform the work of writers and communicators across the Asia-Pacific Region and can be used for personal study or larger educational purposes.

Regional Literature Coordinator Lisa Lehman said of the Holiness Writer’s Conference, “It is our field and regional leadership’s prayer that more Asian Pacific leaders will hear God’s call to write and/or to develop the writing skills of those they lead. May the Lord continue to lead us forward into Christlikeness that is both a viable witness and a fruitful communication of living holiness in our varied cultural contexts.” It is our hope that this videos will help with this goal.
