Nazarene Health Ministries Requests Prayer for Possible Looming Financial Situation

Papua New Guinea (PNG):  Please pray for Nazarene Health Ministries in Papua New Guinea.

PNG Rural Highlands

Rural Health Services are vital to the people of the highlands of Papua New Guinea.

Recently announced PNG national budget cuts planned for 2016 are severe and according to available information, could see a reduction of 40% in the funding assistance normally provided to Kudjip Nazarene Hospital as well as severe cuts to Rural Health Services operating facilities in remote areas of the country.

This affects all of the various church-run health services, who collectively do half of the health care in the country.

Please pray for the government of Papua New Guinea to have wisdom in making a more efficient and  accountable system that will prioritize services to the people of PNG and sustain these vital ministries.
