General Superintendent Dr. Jerry Porter Hospitalized – No Update Yet – Continue to Pray!

by | Jul 10, 2015

NMI Prayer Mobilization Line:  General Superintendent Dr. Jerry Porter was hospitalized on Tuesday, July 7,  in Grapevine, Texas, due to atrial fibrillation (AFib-rapid out-of-sync heartbeat).

Doctors determined that Dr. Porter was anemic, and they found stomach ulcers to be the cause of the anemia. The low blood count contributed in causing the AFib.

He is being treated and is expected to be released from the hospital either Wednesday or Thursday.

Thank you for your prayers for Jerry and Toni.

*** Update:  As of Friday, July 10th (PHT) there has been no official statement released as to the status on Dr. Porter.  Please continue to pray and check back.  We will update you just as soon as an official update has been released.
