Father of Asia-Pacific Regional Director Passes Away

by | Dec 9, 2015

Asia-Pacific Region:  Mr. Leslie Theodore Louw, father of Asia-Pacific Regional Director, Dr. Mark Louw, passed away at 5:45 AM local time on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, in Cape Town, South Africa.

Mark posted the following statement via social media yesterday:

This morning, at 0545 am South African time, my father passed from this life to his eternal reward. I thank God for giving me a loving and supportive father who saw the potential in each of his children and who went out of his way to ensure that we had opportunity to succeed.

His faithful example of a devoted follower of Jesus will forever be with me and has been formative in who I am. Thank you God for blessing and enriching my life with a man who loved as you love and who gave sacrificially of himself as you gave.

“Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15: 54-57.

My heart is at peace!

Prayer is requested for Mark’s mother, Mrs. Bertha Johanna Louw, and for Mark, Linda and the extended family during this time of grieving.  More information will be forthcoming.
