In a powerful and Spirit-led gathering, nearly 190 women across the Philippines-Micronesia Field came together for the recently concluded Nazarene Women in Leadership Webinar, themed “Arise Above Expectations: As a Woman, Wife, and Mother.” The virtual event became more than just a meeting—it was a sacred space where hearts were healed, minds were renewed, and spirits were ignited.
Throughout the webinar, participants were treated to a dynamic lineup of speakers who each shared compelling messages of hope, empowerment, and divine purpose.
Dr. Eileen Ruger urged women to stand boldly in truth, embracing the spiritual authority entrusted to them by God. Pastor Ofel Caalim, speaking with wisdom and grace, reminded wives of their calling to lead and nurture from a place of spiritual strength and freedom. Dr. Mila Prado concluded the session by challenging attendees to pursue excellence not through perfection, but through total dependence on God. Her words deeply resonated: “I am a woman of worth, arising above expectations because my God is the God of the impossible.”
Pastor Jocelyn Geron also shared a heartfelt testimony: “It’s really helpful to us – mom, wife, woman, and worker of the Lord. I was encouraged, inspired, and learned a lot. People’s expectations of us are overwhelming… but what’s important is who we are before the Lord.”
Rev. Inocencia Piliin (NWL PMF Coordinator) remarked, “The webinar about “Arise above the possibilities as a woman, pastor’s wife, and a mother” yielded positive results, with almost all the speakers’ insights accurately addressing the needs of woman who wears many hats. As a result, the participants gained a deeper understanding of themselves and their capabilities as children of God to arise above the challenges of life and be more productive in their own ministry roles.”
As testimonies poured in from participants, the message was clear: this gathering served as a divine reminder that God equips every woman to rise above societal and personal expectations.
This impactful event is just the beginning of a greater movement within the Church—one that recognizes, equips, and celebrates women of worth.
