Update from Micronesia – Please Pray for the Chuuk Church following Typhoon!

by | Apr 1, 2015

Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia:  Please pray for Pastor Richard Sulatra, our Nazarene church families, and all of those in Chuuk as they recover from the devastating effects of Super Typhoon Maysak, that hammered those islands last Sunday afternoon.

Pastor Sulatra reports that our church there sustained some damage to the roof, windows were broken out and everything inside got wet. He is not able to check on all of his church members as the power is still out on the islands.

Please pray for God to be with the people of Chuuk as they try to clean up and rebuild. Five people lost their lives on the island due to this typhoon. . Romans 8:28 comes into play here. Thank you for your prayers.

—  Pastor Larry Cornett – Guam First Church of the Nazarene.
