Leaders from across the Southeast Asia Field came together on August 25-29, 2025, for the annual Field Conference under the inspiring theme “Rooted to Reach.” It was a sacred time of prayer, reflection, and recommitment to God’s mission across the region.
The gathering highlighted the importance of being deeply rooted in Christ and in His Word, so that the Church can be fully equipped and empowered to reach others with the Gospel.
Through heartfelt worship, shared testimonies, and moments of intercession, leaders renewed their call to make Christlike disciples in the nations and to strengthen the mission of the Church in every community.
From Crisis to Growth (2020–2025)
In the midst of the global pandemic, political unrest, and ministry restrictions, the Church in Southeast Asia not only endured—it thrived!
God’s faithfulness has been evident in every area of growth:
- Membership: 9,485 → 16,574 (+74.7%)
- Churches: 187 → 329 (+79%)
- Pastoral Leaders: 233 → 322 (+38%)
- New Districts: Two pioneer areas organized into Phase 1 districts
- CAA10 Movement: From 0 members in 2021 to 4,206 in 2025, with 3,134 added in just one year!
What began as a time of crisis became a testimony of God’s provision and power, as the Church continued to grow in faith, unity, and mission.
Encouragement and Partnership
Throughout the week, leaders were strengthened through messages of hope and partnership. Dr. Kafoa and Aggie Muaror encouraged the leaders toward the shared goal of Vision 2030, reaffirming the power of collaboration in advancing God’s Kingdom.
Longtime mission partners Dr. Min-Gyoo Shin and Dr. MyungMuk Joeng also shared powerful reminders of faithfulness, perseverance, and vision—inspiring everyone to continue pressing forward with courage and grace.
Vision 2026–2030: Bold Multiplication
As the Church looks ahead, the Southeast Asia Field embraces a bold vision for the next five years—one marked by multiplication and transformation:
- 30,000+ members
- 700+ churches (including 300 in pioneer areas)
- 700 credentialed pastors
- 1,000 discipleship groups
- 15 total districts
- Ongoing development of 11 pioneer areas
This is more than a strategic plan—it’s a Kingdom vision for lives transformed and Christ’s light spreading into places where He is not yet known.
Your prayers, generosity, and faithfulness have sustained this mission through seasons of both crisis and growth. The work continues—and together, rooted in Christ, we will reach the nations with His love and truth.
“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.” — Colossians 2:7 (NLT)
