Prayer Requested for Lehman Family in the Loss of Family Patriarch.

by | Jan 29, 2016

Lisa Lehman, Team Member in Bangkok,  Thailand, (click here for profile) recently reported the passing of her grandfather, Paul Alfred Lehman, on January 27th, 2016, He was 94 years old.

It is never easy to be literally half-a-world-away when family losses occur. Please pray for Lisa and the entire Lehman family during these days.  Below is a beautiful tribute that Lisa wrote about her grandfather:

“I just received word that my grandfather went home to Jesus at about 5AM this morning (5PM, Jan. 27, 2016, in MI). He was 94 years old.  But I want to take this time to honor him, Paul Alfred Lehman, for his faithful foundation of Godliness and righteousness, following Jesus’ heart in our family. He blessed me every time I saw him, often sharing scriptures from Paul’s writings in the New Testament to encourage our hearts together.

I’m glad he is finally HOME to stay, but I will dearly miss him until we meet again.

My grandfather was faithful to, “tell to the next generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” (Psalm 78:4, ESV)

I miss you already Grandpa! But I awoke promptly at 5AM this morning in prayer, with a mixed feeling of unusual refreshment and burden for the day. Thank you, Grandpa for all your faithful years of loving Jesus and living and speaking His Word at every opportunity. Now you can rest until we meet again.

In Jesus’ comfort, Lisa”

Please commit to keep Lisa and the entire Lehman family in your prayers during this time.
