On Sunday, 9 November 2025, Nazarene Theological College Australia and New Zealand (NTC) held its annual Celebration Service at the Bayside Salvation Army auditorium in Brisbane, Australia. This event is the highlight of the academic year, as it is the time to celebrate the achievements of graduands and to hear highlights of the college’s work over the past twelve months.
This year, they celebrated nine graduates who completed studies for six different undergraduate and postgraduate awards. NTC is a member institution of the Australian University College of Divinity, which enables the college to deliver awards ranging from an Undergraduate Certificate to a Master of Arts and even a PhD. It was a joyful occasion to celebrate graduates who live and minister in Australia, India, and Fiji.
In addition to celebrating graduands, those in attendance heard highlights about the college in 2025, including the damage caused by Cyclone Alfred in March, the excellent work of an IT Mission Team who upgraded our campus technology in May, and the ongoing refurbishment of our Dormitory building, which will become a place of retreat and rest for Christians near and far.
In attendance were the graduates, friends and family, faculty, staff, and members of NTC’s Board of Trustees. Captain Natalie Frame, pastor of Bayside Salvation Army and NTC Trustee, delivered an encouraging message. A special treat was the worship team from the Birrong Church of the Nazarene, Sydney, which led the singing during the service. Principal Joseph Wood said, “This year’s service was truly a day of celebration! Everything came together as an act of worship and praise to God, our Provider; Christ, our Saviour; and the Holy Spirit, our Guide. I am so proud of our graduates and the whole NTC community for making this evening so special.”
