Indonesia: From 1 to 3 July 2025, the Java-Bali District Church of the Nazarene held a District Pastors’ Retreat with the theme “The Nazarene Family is Ready to Face Challenges” at Amanda Hill, Ambarawa, Central Java.
This retreat was held as part of the implementation of the 3G District Vision, which continues to be promoted and encouraged to become a Central District vision where the Church produces new pastors, new churches, and new believers. Local churches in the region were encouraged to synergize, collaborate, and align their steps toward a stronger and more independent Java-Bali district. This was further strengthened by the region’s Phase 3 status, which was established at the 2025 District Assembly.

District Secretary Rev. Sukirdi shared, “In this situation, God’s servants must have a shared perspective on Bible teaching and the implementation of the Church of the Nazarene’s teachings for Christian families in facing the challenges of this era and entering a strong and healthy district (Phase 3). This will allow both the congregation and, especially as God’s servants, the local church and district church to grow stronger and more interdependent. At this retreat, the discussion session and presentation provided answers to findings in the field of ministry.“
