On 26-30 September 2025, from the moment campers arrived on Friday evening, excitement and anticipation filled the air. Over 75 young people from across the Australia Southern District and the Australia North and West District gathered for a powerful long weekend of worship, fellowship, and fun at Warrambui Camp and Conference Center in Murrumbateman, Australia.
This year’s theme, “UNITY: Together in Christ, Stronger as One,” reminded them that they are called to grow stronger together as the Body of Christ united in faith, love, and purpose.
Each morning and night, they gathered in worship led by talented District Worship Teams from Canberra Church, the Tongan Birrong Congregation, and the Birrong Worship Team. The atmosphere was filled with the Holy Spirit as voices rose in unity.
Every sermon was just as powerful as the next, as young people learned from Dr. Joseph Wood (Principal of NTC Brisbane), Rev. Kathryn Wood (Business Manager of NTC), Rev. Harry Malos (ASD District Superintendent), and Rev. Satish Manmothe (ANZ Field Strategy Coordinator). All brought inspiring messages on unity, prayer, purpose, and the power of rising together through Christ.
Between worship sessions, campers enjoyed outdoor activities, team games, and creative workshops, including: Science & Creation, Musical Storytelling, Stage and Worship Masterclass, and Christ & Culture.
Saturday and Sunday evenings featured Worship & Create nights, celebrating young people’s creative gifts for Christ, including a recording studio experience, dance sessions, and jewellery-making.
From laughter-filled sports and the music video challenge to reflective devotions by the campfire, every moment drew them closer as a family in Christ.
Many young people shared powerful testimonies throughout camp: stories of restored faith, of young people giving their lives to Christ anew, of overcoming challenges, and of discovering new callings.
By the final night’s altar call, the Holy Spirit filled the room as prayers continuously rose. The moment was spontaneous and unforgettable; even children as young as six were praying over others and crying out to God. The atmosphere was thick with the manifest presence of Jehovah Elohim, and the room filled with wailing and praying in their mother tongues as the music spontaneously filled the space, and seemingly no one wished to leave for the campfire, which had long been prepared for. They stayed together like that for well over an hour and a half.
The Music Video Challenge, which continues to grow each year, invited teams to create AI-generated Christian songs based on the camp theme, followed by a matching music video. This initiative — developed by their very own Nico Suryadi from Indonesia, currently in Adelaide — seeks to sanctify creativity and the ever-innovative tool of AI, for the glory of God.
As the camp concluded, many young people left with renewed passion, deeper friendships, and hearts united in Christ. Anticipation for next year’s camp is already building.
