Team Leader from La Verne Community Church Injured During Mission Trip to Australia – Please Pray!

Brisbane, Australia:  On July 9th,  Pastor James (Jim) Scharn, Team Leader and Senior Pastor for the La Verne Community Church of the Nazarene,  was injured in a fall from a ladder while serving on a Work and Witness team to Nazarene Theological College, Brisbane (NTC).

Jim is currently hospitalized at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, awaiting surgery on his upper right femur.  Jim’s wife Cheryl is with him as they work through the details of pending surgery and information on when Jim will be allowed to make the travel back to the United States.

Please commit to pray for Pastor Jim, his wife Cheryl, their family, and the entire Work and Witness team, as they continue to work on projects at NTC.
