On 26 August 2025, the Indonesia Nazarene Theological College (INTC), with God’s grace and help, successfully held its 39th Graduation Ceremony 2025, with the theme “Godly and Faithful Servants of God Until the End.” This year, INTC graduated 13 students from Christian Education, Theology, and Post-Graduate programs.
In this graduation ceremony, the school aims to affirm and strengthen the students who have completed their formal education, and to send them on to a life beyond campus that will never end until we return home to the Father. The school prays that the graduates will remain faithful servants of God until the end.
In the sermon at this graduation, Dr. Made conveyed that God is always good in the past, present, and future. He is never changing. Schools often face struggles and challenges, and students also encounter difficulties. The role of parents is no less important in helping their children with all their efforts to obtain higher education. Graduation is a reminder that we can say “Ebenezer” that God has always been faithful to help us up to this point and will continue to help us in the future.
The graduation ceremony concluded with a symbolic handover of the graduates to the sending church, represented by Rev. Obaja Sigit Karyono, the Java-Bali District Superintendent, representing the Church Of The Nazarene. This signifies that the school has done its part in equipping God’s servants who are ready to enter the world of ministry, whether in the local church, the region, or wherever God places them.
Dr. Seri Damarwanti, the President of INTC, stated, “This year’s graduates are relatively few. However, it’s important to remember that this year’s graduates were recruited during the COVID-19 pandemic four years ago. Many difficulties arose, promotions were not optimal, and all lecturers had to adapt to changes in teaching methods, from face-to-face learning to online learning, and now to hybrid learning. We view this as a positive development, considering Philippians 1:6, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on until the day of Christ Jesus.” STTNI (Sekolah Tinggi Theologia Nazarene Indonesia) is God’s institution; God began it, and God will carry it on until the end. God has His mission; the Church and the School exist for His mission.”
Praise God for His help on STTNI, the students, staff, faculty, and stakeholders throughout this year. Graduation is a milestone reminder that God is with His people, faithfully making Christlike disciples among the nations.
