Taytay, Rizal, Philippines The much-awaited Men’s Conference took place on September 27, 2025, with even greater impact and deeper purpose. First held in 2023, MenCon has quickly become a spiritual anchor for men from various churches, offering encouragement, accountability, and renewal. The 2025 event, themed “Guardians of Family Vol. 2,” was hosted at Taytay First Church of the Nazarene in partnership with Gentlemen in God’s Service (GIGS) Metro Manila District. Nearly one hundred men from across the Metro Manila District gathered for a day of worship, teaching, and fellowship, united by a shared calling to strengthen their families and deepen their faith.
What set MenCon 2025 apart was the relevance of its theme and the diversity of its speakers, each addressing the real challenges men face in today’s world with biblical wisdom and practical guidance. Rev. Kafoa Muaror, Asia-Pacific Regional Director, opened with a powerful call to integrity. His message challenged men to stand firm in truth and character, reminding them that a man’s worth is measured not by worldly success but by faithfulness to God.
Ptr. Reggie Santiago, lead pastor of Reaching All Nations in Bulacan and a widely followed preacher, delivered a stirring sermon titled “Be the Man, Fight for Your Family.” His passionate words reminded participants that their homes are their primary mission fields and that courageous leadership begins with devotion to God and commitment to family.
Adding to the richness of the conference, Ernie Lopez, advocacy ambassador of the ABS-CBN Foundation and a board member of several civic and faith-based organizations, spoke on the importance of healing within the family. His heartfelt message challenged men to become catalysts of restoration, peacemakers who bring reconciliation to their households and communities.
One of the most impactful moments came through the testimony of Ruzzel “Manoy” Bolante, a social media influencer with millions of followers. Once far from God, Manoy shared his story of transformation after a life-changing encounter with Christ. His raw and authentic journey resonated deeply with participants, proving that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.
The program continued with Bonoy Gonzaga, a prominent vlogger and former vice mayor of Taytay, who spoke on “Raising a Godly Home.” He encouraged participants to fortify their households with faith and love, reminding them that building a godly home is one of the greatest legacies a man can leave behind.
The conference was not only about listening but also about action. Worship was led by an all-men’s praise team, filling the sanctuary with heartfelt songs of surrender. Delegates engaged in small-group sharing, participated in a forum with the speakers, and concluded the day by signing a covenant wall, a symbolic declaration of their commitment to live as guardians of their families.
For many, MenCon 2025 became more than a one-day event. It was a landmark gathering that reminded men of their God-given calling not only to lead but also to guard, nurture, and faithfully guide their homes. With courage, integrity, and commitment, the men who attended left strengthened, ready to live as true Guardians of the Family.
