Indonesia: On 27-29 June 2025, the Nusa Tenggara & Maluku District held their first Organizational Meeting & District Leadership Training at the Church Of The Nazarene, Filadelfia Ambon.
The Nusa Tenggara and Maluku District is a new phase 1 district in the Sealands Field, inaugurated in 2025, and Rev. Kristian Telaumbanua was appointed as District Superintendent by the General Superintendent. This organizational meeting aimed to establish a neat and organized district organization, which established a District Advisory Board, consisting of Laity Council members (Mr. Maulana B. Samloy, Mrs. Jasina Taoling, and Mrs. Yos Maya Lewaney), Council members from the Clergy (Rev. Juni Kristian Telaumbanua, Rev. Eferts Roberth Serlawan, and Rev. Murniati), District Secretary Rev. Asnat Mangi, and District Treasurer Mrs. Dessy Natalia Oraplean. Also in this organization, the presidents of essential ministries were appointed, including the NYI President Joshua Pocerratu; NDI President, Ms. Rosalina Ratusehaka; and the NMI President, Mr. Herman Taemnanu.
Rev. Kristian, as district superintendent, stated: “This organizational meeting and leadership training for the NTM district has fostered enthusiasm, unity, and cooperation in leading this new district, in accordance with the strong guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God as the basis for all decisions, and the church of the nazarene manual as direction for running a healthy, strong district ready to advance to the next phase. May the Lord Jesus, who built His church, continue to be exalted and glorified in the NTM district. Amen.“
Praise God, may the established district organization enable the progress of God’s church in the Nusa Tenggara and Maluku districts to grow more effectively and efficiently, reaching souls and making Christ-like disciples.
