Papua New Guinea: In January 2017, a 7.9- magnitude earthquake struck Bougainville island in Papua New Guinea.

Almost two months later, residents in Bougainville island continue to experience the aftereffects of the earthquake. Rumba Church of the Nazarene, consisting of the pastor and 400 members, have already evacuated the area because of earthquake and continued rain. A landslide in the mountains caused rocks and trees to roll through the village; thankfully no one was hurt.
God has truly taken care of Rumba Church. They are moving to a new place in Karnau with plans to re-settle there. Please include Rumba Church in your prayers. May the Lord keep them safe, and may the pastor and church members remain strong in their faith.
