Vanuatu, South Pacific:  We would like to say thank you for all your prayers!

A month ago we were in confusion. We didn’t know what we would do to help our Christians and the Vanuatu communities to rebuild their lives again after this terrifying cyclone called Pam.

God is so good!  Thanks to the many prayers and words of encouragement, although they lost their houses, gardens, properties, and the spring waters they drink, these precious people of Vanuatu still have smiles on their faces.

Fresh water is being made available.

Fresh water is being made available.

With the help of the Nazarene Compassionate Ministry we delivered food, water,  nails, and hammers.   A water well hand pump was installed last week at Prima and Black Sand (where we have churches) and will benefit 500 to 600 people, another impact of your giving through Nazarene Compassionate Ministry.   These are just the beginnings – the work continues across Vanuatu.

We thank God for the help of the Nazarene family around the world. It is because of your obedience to the Lord’s call that we are able to accomplish these tangible acts of compassion.  We will deliver food to many of our churches and their communities in Vila and the outer islands by ship, plane, and ground transport from next week onward.

Please continue to be in prayer for the ongoing ministry and outreach here in Vanuatu.
